Jazz X-Press is the premiere jazz group at Chico State. The exciting sounds of the Chico State Jazz X-Press I and II proudly represents jazz bands through performance of standard big band literature as well as a focus on the newest compositions written for big band by students in the group. Jazz X-Press has shared the stage with many esteemed jazz artists such as Joe Henderson, Rob McConnell, Richie Cole, Carl Fontana, and many others. Other guest artists invited to clinic and perform with the band are Terry Richards, Bobby Shew, Greg Gisbert, Lon Bronson, and Roger Ingram.
